Hi Christopher I have to report an immediate use for my Medipal card !! - Here's a real-life experience testimonial !! Within a few hours of arriving in Turkey I collapsed with a hypo and experienced a diabetic coma for approx 25 mins and then spent the next 2 days of my holiday in Letoon Hospital, Fethyie, Turkey. Needless to say my Medipal Card was very useful in that the medics were aware of my medication and medical history straight away.

I have now used medipal 3 times for parents and friends...it is a simple idea beautifully executed. I one case there was so much medication that medipal intelligently formated the information over two cards. Nice people to deal with.

Christopher thank you very much for that and I already have started to spread the word much appreciated

A possible life saving idea created with compassion and patience for a first class and personal Medical I.D. that leaves you feeling more secure about your conditions being recognised if some accident happened away from home. Excellent communication and personal service, while creating the card, that was second to none. I highly recommend this site and it's services.

A fabulous idea. I don't currently have any details that would merit a place on a MediPal card (does a dislike of celery count?), but will buy them for my parents. Have you thought about having them in footbal team colours so that they present a psychological, as well as physiological, profile at the same time?

Neil M Dunn 22/03/2006 19:46:02
Having only recently received my card, both I and my wife feel a lot more secure should something unforseen happen to me

Hi, Ive just gone online to look at Medipal. I'm really impressed by the concept and was even better impressed at the ease of applying. I look forward to receiving my card and will carry it with the confidence that I know should the need arise it has the potential to save my life. Thank you Medipal

Mr ANS Pursey 22/12/2005 10:52:13
What a good idea but suggest a sample form can be down loaded so that all the information can be filled in pre entering it on line because I will be required to complete at a stroke & us old buggers have a short term memory problem?!!!!

My partner has epilesy and hes not got anything he carries on him to tell people he has epilesy.... so im looking on web to see wot i can find for him. ive read comments from other people and this is what im looking for. He recentently had a fit in town and was taken to hospital luckly a gentleman foned for an ambulance but he may not be so lucky next time. Please forward me information on how we go about getting tags etc many thanks

Keith Sargent 09/11/2005 10:07:47
great idea but would be even better if the card had a cord attached to it or the possibility so that it could be worn around your neck like some people do with glasses. I carry an epilesy card but the biggest problem is remembering to carry it with me when I change trousers or take them off and the card falls out etc. I'd rather have it dangling around my neck so that I only perhaps took it off when sleeping. regards, Keith

Mrs Barbara Parrott 24/10/2005 11:23:17
This is a great idea. I always carry my card wallet so my medipal will always be with me. This is a much more practical idea than wearing engraved jewellery. A girl likes to change her jewellery so may not always wear it, whereas the card is easy to carry always.

David Pritchard 19/10/2005 20:39:54
The website is very user friendly, unlike some that are around. Will certainly be telling friends & colleagues about it. Keep up the good work.

D. Sammons 19/10/2005 11:24:43
hello Chris, very interesting web site, even more so that I have been diagnosed with a brain tumour.Medication has hopefully stopped the fits, but it would be very reassuring if I had one of these cards. Perhaps you can hand deliver it and we will get Tom around as well. Dom. Chris's old flat No 1 Top of the League Road Chelsea Heights

Thankyou for this card it is very handy the cards we have for pacemakers tear very easy we have to keep them for a long time . The medipal card will always keep clean for ten years and more

Nick Smalley 21/09/2005 11:27:43
Well done on a great website for MediPAL which is a really worthwhile product. My wife fell and dislocated her shoulder recently and if she had not had her MediPAL card in her purse, we'd have had all sorts of problems letting the medics know of her medical history and current medication. My advice to anyone who has not yet registered for a MediPAL card is: do so today, you never know when you may need it.
